For schools: how to update your listing on this site
If your school is listed on this site, you can keep its facts current yourself. Ask for a key, then update your row through the form at the bottom of this page, a REST call, or an AI assistant connected to this site's MCP server. Every change is logged and shown on the site with its date.
What you can change
Your key is scoped to your school's row and to these fact fields: school name, city or town, website, admissions page, grades served, type and affiliation, boarding or day model, accreditation, programmes (IB, AP, CTE and so on), and published costs with the school year they apply to. Text fields are plain text, up to 300 characters, with no links or marketing language. Costs are up to eight lines, each with a label, an amount and a school year.
You cannot change the "independent notes" column (the site's own notes, such as third-party ratings), which pages list your school, or any other school's row.
Sources and review
- Changes to costs, accreditation, grades or the boarding model must include the address of the page on your own website where the fact is published. Changes that cite another domain are refused.
- Every change is recorded with the old value, the new value, your source link and the time. The listing then shows "updated by the school" with the date.
- New schools start in review mode: your change is logged at once and published after I check it against your source, usually within a few days. Schools I have spoken with can be switched to publish mode, where changes go live immediately and are still logged.
- Accurate, sourced facts are not removed on request; if you want a cost figure left out, say so and the entry will read "see the school's site".
Step 1: ask for a key
Email the address on the contact page from an address on your school's domain, and say which school you represent and your role. I confirm with the school's main office before issuing a key, and I send one key per contact so each can be revoked on its own. Keys look like sl_ followed by 64 characters and are shown once.
Step 2: choose how to update
The web form (no technical setup)
Scroll to the form at the bottom of this page, paste your key, review your current listing, and submit one field at a time with the source page.
REST (any language, or curl)
curl https://azschoolenrollment.com/api/school-listings/listing \
-H "Authorization: Bearer sl_YOUR_KEY"
curl -X PATCH https://azschoolenrollment.com/api/school-listings/listing \
-H "Authorization: Bearer sl_YOUR_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"changes":{"costs":[{"label":"Day tuition","amount":"$12,500","schoolYear":"2027-28","sourceUrl":"https://your-school.org/tuition"}]},"sourceUrl":"https://your-school.org/tuition","note":"2027-28 tuition set by the board on 1 March"}'
The response says whether the change was applied or is pending review.
MCP (connect your AI assistant)
This site runs a Model Context Protocol server at https://azschoolenrollment.com/api/school-listings/mcp. Connect it and you can ask your assistant to show your listing, compare it with your website, and submit the update. It exposes four tools: get_listing_rules, get_my_listing, update_my_listing and list_my_changes, all scoped to your key.
Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http azschoolenrollment https://azschoolenrollment.com/api/school-listings/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer sl_YOUR_KEY"
Cursor or another client that reads an mcp.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"azschoolenrollment": {
"url": "https://azschoolenrollment.com/api/school-listings/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer sl_YOUR_KEY" }
}
}
}
Then try: "Check my school's listing on azschoolenrollment.com against our tuition page and propose any corrections."
Clients that cannot send a custom header for remote servers (some desktop apps, as of October 2026) can use the REST calls or the form instead.
Keeping your key safe
Treat the key like a password: it can change what the public sees about your school. Do not put it in a shared document or a public repository. If it leaks, tell me and I will revoke it and issue a new one; revoking takes effect immediately.
Not listed yet?
This site lists schools where a page needs them, not every school in Arizona, and no school can pay to be added. If you think a page is missing a school that belongs there, say which page and why through the contact page.

Frequently asked questions
Who can get a key?
Staff of a school that already has a structured listing on this site, confirmed through the school's main office. One key per person.
Can I write a description of my school?
No. Listings hold facts in fixed fields, in the same format for every school. There is no description field.
What happens after I submit a change?
It is logged immediately. In review mode it publishes after I check it against the source page you cited; in publish mode it is live at once. Either way the listing shows the date and "by the school".
Can I remove my school?
Listings are editorial content, so no, but accurate corrections are always made, and if you prefer that no cost figure appear the entry will say "see the school's site".
Is there a cost?
No. Nothing on this site is paid, by schools or by anyone else.
Does using the MCP server give my assistant access to anything else?
No. The key reaches four tools, all limited to your school's row. It cannot read other schools' keys, edit pages, or see anything that is not already public.
