Privacy

You can read every page on this site without giving us anything. This page describes the little we do collect.

Reading pages

When you load a page, our hosting provider records the ordinary web server request: the page address, the time, your browser type and your IP address, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use advertising networks, retargeting pixels or social media trackers. We count visits from search-engine and AI crawlers in aggregate so we can tell whether the site is being indexed.

Email

There is no contact form. If you email the address on the contact page, the message reaches me, Michael Janzen, in an ordinary mailbox. I use it to reply and for nothing else. I do not add you to a mailing list, and I do not share it, including with my employer. To have it deleted, reply to my answer and ask.

Cookies

The public site sets no cookies for readers. Staff who sign in to edit pages have a login cookie; that is all.

Children

This site is written for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
